Pronounced: DAHS ist GOOT

Translated: This is Good!

Meaning: Well, you guessed it - this is good! It is used to express that you like something. Try it the next time you taste one of our cheeses!

KÄSE-GLÜCK

Pronounced: KAYsuh glook

Translated: Cheese Happiness

Meaning: Okay, this one isn't actually a German word, but it is common in German to combine two words to coin a new term. We use this one to describe the happiness that you can only get from eating a great cheese. We think it'll hit a German dictionary real soon.

PARTY MACHEN!

Pronounced: PAR-tee MAH-ken

Translated: Make a party!

Meaning: To have a party.

We don't have a party in Germany, we make one!

SPASSVOGEL

Pronounced: SPAHS-VOH-guhl

Translated: Fun Bird

Meaning: Someone who likes to have a good time. Are you a fun bird?

ANGSTHASE

Pronounced: AHNgst-HAS-eh

Translation: Fear Bunny

Meaning: A scaredy cat. What is your spirit scaredy animal?

DREIKÄSEHOCH

Pronounced: DRI-KAYsuh-HOK

Translated: Three Cheeses Tall

Meaning: short; used to describe the height of a child
